Needle-felted Rubber Fruit Phone Strap

My first attempt at needle-felting. I thought I'll try out needle-felting since I took up hand-spinning and have all this wool/fiber around. I dunno why disembodied moustaches are considered cute. Anyway, this is a sparkly felted rhinestone mobile phone dust plug with a tiny gold acorn.    

My second plied yarn. (Brown Shetland Wool 2-Ply) As you can see, the yarn has gotten thinner and more even.

I try to buy something durable with my Chinese New Year money every year and this year it's my first spindle. Her name is Grape Soda and she's a beautiful Greensleeves Katherine's Cup from Greensleeves Spindles. She has a 2.5 inch Purpleheart whorl with a Macassar Ebony Shaft. The last photo is my first hand-painted braid, Falkland wool top in the "Autumn" colorway from Spunky Eclectic which I am currently spinning.

100% Silk on Silk. My own attempt at a hanfu hebao.

(100% Silk on Silk) by Ink Jade Studio I embroidered this as a Xmas present (design not by me though as this was from a kit) for a close friend. Just delivered it safely and on time. :)

Handmade from scratch by me using materials from a kit bought locally (so unlike my other pieces I didn't design this). Materials used: Genuine Swarovski crystals, Swarovski pearls, natural freshwater pearls, Toho seed beads.

Materials: black lip shell hairstick, white shell sakura, crystal, brass, shell pearls, glass butterfly and teardrops Hairstick length: Approx 12.5 cm Dangle length: Approx 9.5cm The black lip shell was chosen for its natural iridescence(look at the greenish part) which you can see in the photo. The silver colored dangle at the end represents a peacock's feather.

Materials: brass, rabbit fur, crystal, red agate, freshwater teardrop pearl Hairstick length: Approx 14cm Dangle length: Approx 9.5 cm Meant to evoke the crystalline purity of fresh plum blossoms in snow. The pearl used is a natural freshwater teardrop pearl.
